About Exam Copies
With the approval of your local sales representative and confirmation of your instructor status, examination copies are available for you to review and consider for use in your courses. Examination copies are offered free of charge for your consideration, and should not be sold in bookstores or to book resellers.

About Desk Copies
We are happy to provide desk copies and additional teaching materials to qualified adopters of our text books. Because these books and materials are frequently meant for instructors only, your request will be passed on to a sales representative who will then confirm your instructor status and bookstore order.

To request a desk or exam copy:

MPS Terms & Policy

Claims
We require claims of any nature––shortages, damages, incorrect titles, tracers, etc.--to be placed within 60 days from the actual billing date shown on the invoice. Claims after this date will be denied.

Deductions
All deductions in payments should reference actual credit memo number and be accompanied by a complete explanation, which will allow us to resolve the deduction in a timely manner.

Method of Return:
All returns must be prepaid. No prior authorization required. If returned collect, shipments will be refused, unless prior authorization is granted.

Shipping Requisites:

    * Enclose packing slip with shipment, giving: Invoice number
    * Your account number
    * Date of purchase
    * Reason for return
    * Detailed list of contents-including quantity, ISBN and title

Crediting of returns without this information will be delayed


Conditions for Credit
Books must be in unmarked, saleable condition and returned no earlier than 180 days from invoice billing date but no later than 16 months, unless otherwise authorized.

Out of print titles will be eligible for return for up to 90 days after notification.

Books not eligible for credit will be returned to sender via UPS. Cost of postage will be deducted from credit memo or billed separately in the event of no credit due. Returns on titles which have been out of print for more than one year are not eligible for credit and will not be returned.

Credit memos should be used within one year from date of issuance.

Refund Policy
> If you purchase access online, you may cancel your subscription within two weeks of purchase and receive a full refund. Contact Tech Support to get your refund.
> If you purchased access to an e-book, you can receive a full refund within 2 weeks of purchase if you have not accessed (viewed or printed) more than 20% of the content. To check your eligibility and request a refund, click here.
> If you have purchased access to Re:Writing Plus, you can receive a full refund within 2 weeks of purchase. To request a refund, submit a request to Tech Support.
> If you have purchased access online to any of our Classes or Portals and you drop the course, you can contact tech support within 2 weeks of purchasing access to get a refund. Contact Tech Support to get your refund. You can then re-purchase access when you take the course later.
> If you purchased an access card packaged with a printed textbook, the access code may not be valid if the package has been opened. You will need to contact the bookstore about a refund, since Technical support is not able to refund purchases made at campus bookstores. Please note that if you have already registered the access card you will not be eligible for a refund.

Refunds will be automatically credited to the credit card you used to purchase your subscription.

Bedford, Freeman, and Worth Publishers reserve the right to change the terms of our refund policy at our sole discretion.
